I'm repeatedly unable to connect my bank of america account. I keep getting error code 590, try again later. I've been trying but never been able to get it to work.

I'm repeatedly unable to connect my bank of america account. I keep getting error code 590, try again later. I've been trying but never been able to get it to work.

We've received reports from other users concerning this error message from the Capital One bank. However, the investigation status is already showing as resolved since March 13, 2019.

 

Banking error 590 typically occurs if your Financial Institution's sign-in window was closed out while attempting to add the new connection or it took too long to verify the Google reCAPTCHA. You can follow the troubleshooting steps that I've listed below to fix the issue. 

 

Let's start with running the Manual update feature:

  1. Select Banking from the sidebar menu.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Select an account.
  4. Click the Update option in the upper-right corner.

At the same time, we can edit your sign-in info to isolate the issue:

  1. Tap the Pencil icon next to the bank name and select Edit sign-in info.
  2. Enter your user ID and password.
  3. Hit Save and connect once done.

If the error still persists, I recommend getting in touch with our phone supports so that we can pull up your account in a secure session. Then, we'll conduct a series of tests to rectify the issue. Here's how to connect with us:  

  1. Click the Help icon.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter "Banking error 590" with your bank's name in the description.
  4. Hit the Let's talk button.
  5. Select Start a chat.

In the meantime, you can download the transactions from your bank and upload them to your QuickBooks account. That way, you can still continue managing them while we're assessing this issue.
