Is it possible to disable the in-app advertisements for Quickbooks Self employed? Whenever I login I get promoted to upgrade to Quickbooks online for more features.

I get prompted to upgrade over and over again every time I login.

I want to stop this from happening to you, @dansullivan1.

I'm here to help you disable advertisements in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

QuickBooks use in-product ads to help optimize your QuickBooks experience by suggesting new features and program updates that's timely relevant.  As of the moment, you'll have to manually close the ads or pop-up by clicking the "X" or "Close" button to prevent it from showing again.

We share the latest news, features, and product upgrades through our blog. To keep you updated, I'd recommend visiting the page through this article: The QuickBooks Blog.

Please don't hesitate to leave a comment below if you have other concerns about managing the growth of your business using QuickBooks. I'm just around to help. Take care always, dansullivan1.

Thank you for your support, @MichelleBh.  Unfortunately, what you described does not work.  I just tested this twice in a row by logging in a clicking the X to dismiss the ads.  For something I'm paying for, the amount of in-app adds for your software really caters to a horrible user experience.  You're repeatedly suggesting to me that the product I'm paying for probably isn't sufficient for my use case - I'm not sure why you do this.
