Keep getting error 590 when linking an account that is already linked and still does not show any transactions!

I know this hasn't been an easy process for you, @groovetime8. I appreciate all the efforts you've performed to get this resolved.

Let me make it up to you by ensuring you'll get a detailed explanation of why you encountered error messages when linking your account to QuickBooks.

The error 590, means that the bank's sign-in window was closed out while attempting to add the new connection or it took too long to verify the Google reCAPTCHA. Slow or no internet connection could also be a factor and the bank may have updated its website.

With this, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix this. There are instances when the browser is full of commonly used page resources, which results in errors or odd behavior. Let's use a different or private browser to view your account. You can use any of these shortcut keys to access one:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N.

Once it's successful, go back to your usual browser and clear its cache. This is done to speed up the process the next time you do a transaction in QuickBooks. Also, an alternative way is to use other compatible browsers.

In the meantime, we can manually upload your bank transactions in QuickBooks Online

Once your transactions are in QuickBooks, it's time to match and categorize them. Doing so ensures you're able to put them in the correct accounts.

You can always count on me if you need anything else with linking your account. I'm always here to help you out. You have a good one.
