a Customer of mine, asked for help with a QB issue, after upgrading from QBPro22 to QBPro24. 3 pc's are involved. Host PC is Win11, company file opens in multi user mode by default. It indicates this in the window's title bar. When either of the other 2 PC that run windows 10 try to open the file on the host, they receive a message (6190, 816) indicating that the file is already open by another user and that it should be put in multi user mode. I have disabled multi user mode and re-enabled it, and still get the same result on both PC's. Each machine can open the file with no issue, as long as its not already open. It appears as though multi-user mode is not being recognized. Tried the tool hub fixes. Permissions seem to be ok, as I am able to create a new txt file in the location of the company file, from the non-host PC's.
