Payrool and Quickbooks Updates Updating Incorrectly

Hello!  Whenever i update Payrool or Quickbooks, "it" reverts to the old owners information.  I've been on the phone and let QB techs take over my computer, but it still does it everytime.  Please help!  I have a thousand new duties due to covid and i just really need it FIXED for real and forever!!!  Also, when they took over my computer, "they" created another ccompany (just changed with Inc.), but that seems to be the issue.....I think.  Thanks to all for your time!  Donna

We'd really want to make sure that you're company details are correct in your company file. Can you give us more information that keeps on reverting back? This is for us to make sure that we give you the right information and steps to resolve the issue.

I've attached a snip....the info is correct in Signsolutions, Inc., but NOT in Sign Solutions.  Intuit wants to update Sign Solutions (which is the old owner info).  I have already done the articles of incorportion and yada, yada, and i can do it again, if that other one will go away forever!!!

QuickBooks Payroll values your data security. I'd love to help you with this. But we cannot access your Intuit account and update your information in a public forum. I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They're equipped with tools that can help you change the account name and further investigate the issue and its cause.
 

Here's how to contact our support.

  1. Select the Help menu.
  2. Click QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Hit Contact us
  4. Enter Intuit account in the Tell us more about your question box.
  5. Tap Search.
  6. Choose either Call us or Message us.

Payrool and Quickbooks Updates Updating Incorrectly

After an hour on chat and an hour on the phone, it isn't fixed.  Turns out I have TWO company names/accounts, 1 is the one I've been working in for 14 years and the other is the old owners info.  That is why "it" doesn't want to update my company, but this mystery company that magically appeared last year when I upgraded. So now I have to be the primary on that company and then they can delete it.   The site spins and spins and I can't upload the info they want.  This is nightmare...TWICE.  In the meantime, my upgrade, paid in full, is unused and I have lost some functions in MY COMPANY.  Grrrrrr.
