I purchased QB Desktop Pro Plus 2022 to upgrade from QB Pro 2019. I cannot get past the login requesting the admin user name and password. I am the admin and sole user. I am entering the correct user name and password used to start the current version. Any suggestions are appreciated.
There are 2 login credentials to access your file. i.e Intuit ID and Company File. You should try both of them.
Are you able to create a new company file on QB Desktop 2022? Another option, login to your CAMPS as the Primary Admin. Can you find your license information for QB Desktop 2019 and 2022?

The recommendation provided by our Community backer Fiat Lux – ASIA, is correct. You’ll want to try the two login credentials to access your file.
You can also use the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) to confirm the info and manage your account. I’m glad to show you how:
