It's possible that you may have selected the incorrect installer when installing QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) on your client's PC. Instead of installing the Pro Multi-Store version, it installed the Basic version.
To ensure that you install the Pro/Multi-Store version, please make sure you select the correct installer, which is Point of Sale Pro Multi-Store. Here's how:
- Visit our Downloads & Updates page to download your version of QuickBooks Point of Sale.
- Answer the prompt question.

- Make sure to choose the Point of Sale Pro Multi-Store.
