Can I use the Linux Database Server Manager (via Fedora 32) with Quickbooks Premier Plus 2021 for Contractors? I cannot seem to find that specific compatibility listed anywhere, though I assume I can.
I currently have a 2 license subscription to QB Premier Plus 2021 for Contractors. We just share a single laptop, but we want to use the second laptop and a small stationary server, preferably using Linux. Today we are not using the multi user mode, sharing the one laptop, a significant upgrade for the small business.
Thank you for your time reading and responding.

No. You can only use Linux solution for QBD Enterprise.

Chat Support and ask them to merge those licenses. You need to use a single license with more than 1 user to work in multiuser mode.
Hi there, TrevSC.
Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. Let me discuss how Linux Database Server Manager works in QuickBooks Desktop. Then, ensure you can perform an alternative way to achieve your goal.
QuickBooks has the option to install the QBDT Database Manager on a Linux file server to let you host and store QuickBooks files. Please keep in mind with the details mentioned by Fiat Lux that this is only available for any version of QBDT Enterprise other than 23.0. This is why you can't find that specific compatibility listed anywhere. You can open this article to see extra details on how the said Linux Server works: Install Linux Database Server Manager.
For now, setting up a multi-user network is the best option you can utilize in QBDT to access your company file from another laptop. This is to work in QuickBooks Desktop from a different computer/laptop to your server smoothly. You can click this article to view various tasks that can be performed in multi-user mode: Features available and tasks you can perform in single or multi-user mode.
Additionally, QuickBooks Desktop can also be integrated with hundreds of apps. With this, you can go to MarketPlace and browse the site to get a better comparison of the available apps. Then, determine whether one meets your requirements for installing a program that allows you to log in to a company file on multiple computers at the same time.
Lastly, you may refer to this article to view details on what hosting providers are approved by Intuit to host QuickBooks Desktop: Hosting providers authorized by Intuit.
Feel free to get back to me if you have additional questions about assessing company files between the two software. I'm always here to help you out, TrevSC. Have a great day!
