Quick books is not working on the app

Hi there, alas2008. I know a troubleshooting step to help you access the QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) mobile app and complete your tasks within the app.

If you downloaded the app before March 24, 2024, you could use and receive product support and updates through the app store. Since the app isn't working, you can clear its data. Doing so helps remove old and unnecessary files that slow it down and speed up its performance. Here's how:

For Android

  1. Go to your device's Settings.
  2. Select Apps, then locate the QuickBooks app from the list.
  3. Click Storage, then select Clear Data.

For iOS:

  1. Go to your device's Settings.
  2. Tap on your name to open your Apple account.
  3. Hit on iCloud, then tap Manage Account Storage.
  4. Tap on the QuickBooks app's data you want to delete.
  5. Hit the Delete Data or Delete Documents & Data button to delete the app data from iCloud.

However, if you haven't downloaded it, you won't be able to search it since it's already removed from the App Store or Google Play Store starting March 24, 2024. You can visit this article to learn more about the app's availability: QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app availability update.

Alternatively, you can use your QBSE account through a web browser or other supported devices. Also, check out the latest QuickBooks Solopreneur, a similar product with more advanced features that can help you organize your business and personal transactions, track mileage, and measure your business performance.

To assist you in performing tasks within the app, I've included a link to view some video tutorials: QuickBooks Self-Employed - Mobile App Tutorials.

You can leave a comment below if you have any additional QuickBooks-related concerns. We'll be more than willing to help you get those sorted out. Stay safe!
