Join nowI am running Quickbooks Desktop 2014 Pro on a laptop and it has been great, the screen broke but the laptop still functions on an external screen (which is a pain), so i have got another laptop which i am setting up and of course want to install my 2014 Pro. I have the printout i made when i installed and registered the product on the damaged laptop some years ago and have also retrieved all the licence and product info from the old laptop which matches up. I am installing from the Quickbooks Pro 2014 EXE file and when installing i choose the default install which then brings up the screen to enter your Licence and your Product code. when i have entered the Licence & Product Key i get the message "Incorrect Licence/Product numbers". It is very frustrating as everything else has been moved over to the new laptop and this is a major stumbling block. Any ideas?

Let's fix the incorrect license/product number errors by performing some troubleshooting steps. This way, you can install your QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2014 successfully.
You'll want to make sure the license number and product code match. To check if you're using the correct license/product numbers, you can review your purchase confirmation email for your license number and product code if you bought QuickBooks Desktop from our website.
However, if you bought QuickBooks from a retail store, look for the sticker on the original CD envelope.
If you can't find them, you can sign in to your Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPS) to get them.
If you still can't see them, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can look into your account in a secure environment and give you the license/product numbers.
