Join nowIf you are experiencing QuickBooks crashes on your Mac after updating to Sonoma, you are not alone. Many users have reported this issue and we are working hard to resolve it as soon as possible. In the meantime, here are some common troubleshooting tips that may help you fix the problem or at least reduce its frequency.
- Make sure your Mac meets the minimum system requirements for QuickBooks. You can check them here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/install-products/system-requirements-for-quickbook...
- Update your Mac to the latest version of macOS. You can do this by going to System Preferences > Software Update and following the instructions.
- Restart your Mac and try opening QuickBooks again. Sometimes a simple reboot can clear up any glitches or conflicts that may cause QuickBooks to crash.
- Repair disk permissions on your Mac. This can help fix any issues with file access or corruption that may affect QuickBooks. You can do this by opening Disk Utility (in Applications > Utilities) and selecting your startup disk. Then click First Aid and follow the prompts.
- Reinstall QuickBooks using a clean install. This means uninstalling QuickBooks completely and then reinstalling it from a fresh download. This can help eliminate any damaged or outdated components that may cause QuickBooks to crash. You can follow the steps here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/install-products/reinstall-quickbooks-for-mac-usin...
