QuickBooks Online Desktop App loses connection

Hi,

 

recently I've been getting a lot of Connection lost errors using the QBO Desktop app. It works fine for a random time (no more than 15 minutes), but then it shows a screen saying that Something went wrong and I can click Retry. This screen pops up 3 times and then I get a button to Sign Out. I can then sign in after half a minute or so, but it keeps happening. I've tried working on wifi and wired network connection and I already uninstalled the app and downloaded the latest version (QuickBooks 3.5.2). Anybody else with this issue? Any ideas on how to fix this?

Updating and reinstalling the QBO desktop application are the basic steps to resolve connection errors. Since you're still getting the same error, it's best to contact our Technical Support Team. They have the tools to check what's causing the issue, and will help you fix it.

  1. Go to this website https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Select QuickBooks Online.
  3. Click the Solving issues & error messages topic.
  4. Click the Login sub-topic.
  5. Scroll down and click the Get Phone Number button.
