I am trying to connect my Venmo Business account and keep getting a connection error. When it does try to connect, It will only connect to my personal account.

I am trying to connect my Venmo Business account and keep getting a connection error. When it does try to connect, It will only connect to my personal account.

Welcome to the Community, @julie-resilience. I’ll further assist you with your issue about the error you’ve encountered in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

 

Beforehand, I just need some more information to help me get on the same page like what specific error you've encountered while connecting the Venmo Business account.

 

In the meantime, you’ll want to update your bank to refresh the connection and download the recent entries. I'll be glad to guide you how.

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. Click Refresh all to refresh the connection.

Once everything is settled, you'll want to categorize your transactions to ensure it's in the correct line with your Schedule C and expense categories
