Recent Updates for QuickBooks Desktop

I just did the most recent Quickbooks update for Quickbooks update and now I cannot switch to single user mode.  When I try to switch to the single user mode, Quickbooks shuts down.

Recent Updates for QuickBooks Desktop

Hi there, @Angie13.

Let’s perform some troubleshooting steps so you can switch to single-user mode in to your QuickBooks account.

I'd suggest performing a Quick Fix my file in QuickBooks Tool Hub. Here's how:

  1. In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Program Problems
  2. Select Quick Fix my Program.
  3. Start QuickBooks Desktop and open your data file.

I'd like to leave this article for full guidance on going on about this: Repair your QuickBooks Desktop for Windows.

Additionally, I'd like to leave this article to learn how to fix data damage on your QuickBooks Desktop company file: Fix data damage on your QuickBooks Desktop company file.

Keep us posted if the issue remains. I'm always around to help!
