Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! I will be more than happy to help. Have you tried running Quickbooks as Administrator? If not, let's go ahead and do so.
- Close the program and restart your computer.
- Then, right-click QuickBooks Desktop icon and select Run as the Administrator.
- Make sure to download the latest product updates to ensure you have the most recent update of QuickBooks.
If you are still not having a breakthrough, we have a few more solutions, such as toggling the UA setting, double-checking that the file is not set as Read Only, etc, since there is more than one solution for this problem. All of this can be found in the article linked below.
