Join nowI have Qb 2017 Pro for Windows now. I would like to get Window Desktop for Mac. The management software I use doesn't work with the Mac desktop version, only the Windows version. I want to use the Mac version for all of my accounting and banking. I would need to move the sales information from If I back up by Windows version and move the file to my Mac version, will the back up file remove the information that I have entered into the Mac version?

Here's an article that shows you what data can be imported into QuickBooks Desktop: Import and export data in QuickBooks Desktop
The easiest way to export the data you need would be to export the data into an IIF file.
Here's how:
Here's another article that shows you how to import the ILF file into the Mac version: Tasks you can do with IIF files.
