Printing issues can occur if the Qbprint.qbp file is damaged. Hence, your're unable to print the checks. Before we do any troubleshooting steps, I'd recommend updating QuickBooks to the latest release. This will fix minor program issues.
After that, we can start the troubleshooting steps. We have 4 recommended solutions to fix the printing issue. The first solution would be to download and run the QuickBooks Tool Hub. It will automatically correct the components that have been damaged.

Always a great idea to ensure QB has the latest release. However, mine does using Enterprise '18 (R14_36). All is well though because today, March 17, I was able to print. Odd as I didn't do anything different and I am the admin. Oh well. Must've been shaky printing checks for bill payments with the Corona Virus in full swing. Thanks for caring enough to respond! ~Rose
