QB support continues to degrade. I decided to get on the 'ol twitter and tweet the CEO's account. I eventually got a DM from someone at QB (not the CEO of course, didn't expect that). As per usual, what I was actually asking about and commenting on was confusing to them, as evidenced by responses that were as if they didn't read anything I said (sound familiar QB Community participants?). That 3 or 4 different people were corresponding along the way didn't help.
I continued to work my way through their confusion and got to the very important sounding "Office of the President." ooh, neat. Now we're getting somewhere!
I finally had a phone call scheduled with an actual human being. They called the wrong number and more hilarity ensued but we'll leave that for now. When I did get on the phone with the person, it was like they were taking the call in the worst call center ever designed with 10 other voices in the background. I knew this was probably my last chance to talk to an actual human at "The Office of the President", so I suffered through.
...until I realized no one was talking back to me. I find out through email that her headset was broken, and she was trying to find another one that worked. End of communication for the day.
At that point I just gave up. Through another email I got a few other common platitudes like "we are very committed to customer support" and the like, but it was just more of the same. From what I garnered, the Office of the President is merely a place where they take your concerns that are very important and pass them onto someone else who is very important and then they go into the "VERY IMPORTANT" circular file.
A complete waste of my time. My search for another software solution continues.
