Account balances on home page are wrong

We just upgraded to Enterprise and now some of the account balances on my homepage are incorrect.

Account balances on home page are wrong

Thanks for notifying us of your concern, @toni1. Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to resolve the incorrect account balances showing in your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) homepage.

 

In some cases, inaccurate information displayed on the homepage are caused by a temporary data issue. To resolve this, let's utilize the Verify and Rebuild tool to scan and repair your company file for potential data damage. Before doing so, ensure that the program is in its latest update.

 

To verify your company data:

  1. Go to Window and select Close All.
  2. Select File, then Utilities.
  3. Click Verify Data.

 

Here's how to rebuild:

  1. Go to File, select Utilities, and then select Rebuild Data.
  2. Press OK when QBDT asks to make a backup. Choose where to save it and click OK.
  3. Select OK once you get the message Rebuild has completed.

 

Once done, run the Verify Data tool again to double-check for additional damage.

 

Moreover, review your accounts in QBDT to ensure they match your real-life bank and credit card statements.
