It's good to see you in the Community. I'll walk you through the process of changing the admin password on your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

 

To start, you'll need to prepare your QuickBooks license number, as well as the email address, phone number, ZIP code, and name you used to buy and register the product, to begin the password reset process. The CAMPS website has all of this data available.

 

Here's how to reset it:

 

  1. On your QuickBooks login screen, click Forgot Password.
  2. Fill out all the information on the form. Then, select OK.
  3. You’ll receive a code through email. Enter the code. Then, hit OK.
  4. QuickBooks will then guide you through creating a new admin password.
