Amazon Seller Connection by QBO

I have some questions regarding how Amazon Seller Connection by QBO works. Does it extract transactions from the Amazon Business report (which is accruals-based) or from the Amazon Transactions report (which is cash-based)?

Amazon Seller Connection by QBO

It's nice to have you here today, Andreea. Let me share some insights on how Amazon Seller Connection by QuickBooks Online (QBO) operates.

The system extracts transactions based on the Amazon Transactions report (cash-based). It imports summarized sales data based on Payouts from Amazon settlement reports. Amazon Payouts are categorized into sales, shipping income, discount, reimbursement, selling fees, fulfillment & warehousing fees, subscription fees, and advertising fees.

You may run through the resources from this article for more tips about this feature: Amazon Seller Connector by QuickBooks.

Otherwise, you can contact Amazon Seller to learn more about how the application works with QBO.

On the other hand, you can also utilize the Apps menu to manage and connect other supported third-party applications to QuickBooks.

Amazon Seller Connection by QBO

Hello,

I recently connected our Amazon Account to Amazon Seller Connection by QBO but I noticed that there is nothing reflected on the Payout tab despite receiving payments from Amazon. Is there a way or settings that needs to be changed? We received the payout today in our bank account but it's not reflected on the Amazon Seller Connections by QBO.

Thank you!

I'm glad you took the time to post your query, and it would be my pleasure to assist you with your questions regarding the payout not reflected on your Amazon Seller Connections, Berna2.

It is important to note that the way the payout is reflected in QBO depends on the third-party provider you are integrating. Once you connect your Amazon Seller Central account with Amazon Seller Connector by QuickBooks, the system should automatically sync your summarized sales data based on Payouts from Amazon settlement reports. The payouts are broken down into the following categories; sales, shipping income, discount, reimbursement, selling fees, fulfillment/warehousing fees, subscription fees, and advertising fees.

Since the payment has already been cleared in your bank account, you'll want to make sure that there are no Filters applied in the Payout tab. This way, you'll able to view all the transactions. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Commerse menu.
  2. Choose Payouts.
  3. Click the Filter drop-down, and select the appropriate options.

Furthermore, if the issue persists or you need more help in adjusting the app settings to ensure that your payouts are downloaded seamlessly, you can dial the number in the Contact section of this link: Amazon Seller Connector by QuickBooks.

@Berna2

The free connector is not reliable. Consider having a paid connector instead.
