Join nowI have some questions regarding how Amazon Seller Connection by QBO works. Does it extract transactions from the Amazon Business report (which is accruals-based) or from the Amazon Transactions report (which is cash-based)?
It's nice to have you here today, Andreea. Let me share some insights on how Amazon Seller Connection by QuickBooks Online (QBO) operates.
The system extracts transactions based on the Amazon Transactions report (cash-based). It imports summarized sales data based on Payouts from Amazon settlement reports. Amazon Payouts are categorized into sales, shipping income, discount, reimbursement, selling fees, fulfillment & warehousing fees, subscription fees, and advertising fees.

Hello,
I recently connected our Amazon Account to Amazon Seller Connection by QBO but I noticed that there is nothing reflected on the Payout tab despite receiving payments from Amazon. Is there a way or settings that needs to be changed? We received the payout today in our bank account but it's not reflected on the Amazon Seller Connections by QBO.
Thank you!
I'm glad you took the time to post your query, and it would be my pleasure to assist you with your questions regarding the payout not reflected on your Amazon Seller Connections, Berna2.
It is important to note that the way the payout is reflected in QBO depends on the third-party provider you are integrating. Once you connect your Amazon Seller Central account with Amazon Seller Connector by QuickBooks, the system should automatically sync your summarized sales data based on Payouts from Amazon settlement reports. The payouts are broken down into the following categories; sales, shipping income, discount, reimbursement, selling fees, fulfillment/warehousing fees, subscription fees, and advertising fees.
Since the payment has already been cleared in your bank account, you'll want to make sure that there are no Filters applied in the Payout tab. This way, you'll able to view all the transactions. Here's how:
