American Express not updating in Quickbooks Online

This has been an ongoing issue for me on and off since September 2018.  I have to continually disconnect and reconnect my Amex online to QBO.  When I do, all of the transactions don't automatically download and I have to compare each line item to my credit card to be sure everything is entered.  This is extremely time consuming and frustrating.  Now for the past week Amex is telling me that it can't download because my subscription is expired and it is not.  I have read many other entries in here that others have the same issue and I can't believe this is still not fixed.

Let me step in for a moment and help you get back on tracking and managing your American Express transactions.

 

Did you happen to have any specific error message when updating your transactions? Any details you can share will be much appreciated. This would allow me to share an absolute resolution to solve your concerns for today.

 

In the meantime, you have the option to update your transactions by clicking the Update button. This allows you to manually update your transactions.

 

In addition, you can also download and manually upload your transactions to your QuickBooks Online banking.
