We need to make sure that the app is updated and that the latest version works with your device. The software also keeps cache files, which occasionally results in a strange response from the system. Let's clear the app's cache by doing the following steps to start:
In the QuickBooks Online app:
- Android: From More Options ⋮, select Settings, then select Refresh Data. Then, tap Yes.
In your device Settings:
- Android: From your device's Settings, select Apps (varies by device), choose QuickBooks app from the list, and then select Storage. Finally, select clear data.
If the issue persists, you can consider uninstalling the QBO app and then reinstalling it. Here's how to achieve that:
To uninstall:
- Hold or long press the QuickBooks Online icon.
- Click on the (x) and choose yes to uninstall.
To install:
- Go to the Play store.
- Search for the QuickBooks Online app.
- Click on Install.
