We currently have an investigation (INV-48968) about receipts not attaching on the transactions. Our product engineer team is working to fix this issue as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, I have two workarounds you can follow. First, you may scan the receipt using the mobile app. Here's how:
- In the QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app, select the Transactions tab.
- Tap the Plus icon, then choose Snap receipt.
- Select the photo you want to attach.
- Open and review the scanned receipt in the Needs Action section.
- Tap Save.
Second, you can forward your receipt from the mobile app to QBSE. Please visit this article for the detailed steps: Forward receipts to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Also, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support and give the investigation number INV-48968. This way, you'll be added to the affected users' list, and receive an update about the issue.
