auto fill on check stub

Does anyone have any idea as to why, when entering check information, some information is automatically filled on check stub (such as amount) and sometimes, I have to change it ?

I've got a couple of steps about turning off automatically filling out information on your check stub, Birdie311.

 

Let's start by ensuring that Automatically recall account or transaction information is unchecked in your Preferences so it stops auto-generating. Let me show you how:

 

  1. Click the Edit menu.
  2. Look for Preferences.
  3. Go to the General tab and pick My Preferences.
  4. Under the Automatically Recall Information section, uncheck the Automatically remember account transaction box.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.

Furthermore, you can uncheck the Autofill payee account number in check memo to disable the payee account number from showing in the check memo field.
