build assemblies

We are using Quickbooks Enterprise via cloud-hosting.  We have been please so far with the technical piece and speed of processing transactions.  However, we started to Build Assemblies and there is a lag when completing the build.  Has anyone experienced this build lag?  We'll be building many assemblies at a time and this lag will slow us down quite a bit.

Any thoughts?

Let me give you some insights into what’s causing lag in your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), @BernieJ.

Sometimes, lag issues are caused by the saved data in the system or your platform just needs an update. As of now, you can try updating your QBDT to its latest release. Here’s how to update:

  1. In your QuickBooks Desktop, go to the Help menu.
  2. Select the Update QuickBooks Desktop button.
  3. Click on the Options column and enter the necessary fields.
  4. Select the Update now button, tick the box for Reset Update.
  5. Click on the Get Updates button and confirm.

While waiting for the update to finish, do not make any changes in your QBDT until you can see a prompt message that the update is done. I added a screenshot below for your reference.

There is a lag time that increases slower and slower the more builds you do. We have on average 50 items to build at a time. Quickbooks has now started giving a warning "Quickbooks will restart" every 5-8 builds. After the warning box, Quickbooks then restarts, having to start over with pulling reports for neg inventory. Spoke with Right Networks Hosting and was told this was a Quickbooks issue, however they did rebuild the file which did not change anything. The owner has suggested downloading QB Enterprise to the desktop to try to work outside of Right Networks. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also the previous instructions to update QB did not change anything if this helps.
