Currently, QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't have the ability to bulk modify the starting date of your products and services. However, I can show you how to edit them individually on the Product and Services page. Please see the steps below.
- Go to the Gear icon and select Products and Services.
- Locate the product or service you want to change and click Edit under the Action column.
- Under the Quantity on hand section, select Starting value and click Got it! to confirm.
- Change the new As of date as needed.
- Select Save and Close.
I can see how the option to bulk edit the As of date section of your products and services benefits you as a business owner. In the meantime, I recommend sharing your valuable input with our software engineers so they can review your suggestion and consider incorporating it in our future product updates. To do that, go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
Furthermore, you'll want to import a spreadsheet containing your products and services to save time entering them into QBO.
