Business Validation Error - Code 6000

Hello!

I am working at Spendesk and one of our customer (realmId [removed]) could not export an expense-claim to Quickbooks over API.

We received this error:

[ValidationFault] A business validation error has occurred while processing your request

I attach to this request the payload that we sent to Quickbooks, and the response that we got.

We would like to provide a better guidance to our end user, but we are not able to know what the actual issue is, from the Quickbooks's response, given the fact that the element property is empty.

Thank you.

Business Validation Error - Code 6000

Hi there, Pierre B.

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community and for providing a screenshot of your concern. I'll ensure you'll be routed to the appropriate team to address your concern as soon as possible.

The QuickBooks Community site can only assist with QuickBooks-specific issues. With this, we have a separate forum where you can interact with fellow developers, product experts, and engineers about any API-related questions. Since your concern is about exporting an expense to Quickbooks over API, I encourage posting your question to our Intuit Developer Community. They can provide more insights on what you need and the steps to be performed.

 Here's how:

  1. Go to this link: https://help.developer.intuit.com/s/.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop under What do you need help with?
  3. Tick Ask a Question
  4. Log into your existing Intuit Developer Account or create a new one.
  5. Enter your concern.
  6. Click Ask

Lastly, I'm adding this article to see various features you can use and how to utilize them while working on your business using QBO: Help guide for QuickBooks Online. It contains topics about accounting, banking, and payments to name a few.

If you have questions related to QuickBooks, don't hesitate to let me know by adding a comment below, Pierre B. I'm always here to help. Have a good one!
