Hi, @the_tile_setters.
I'm here to share insight about printing calendar in QuickBooks Desktop.
Are you trying to print a payroll calendar to show the pay schedules of your employee? If so, this option is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop, I recommend utilizing a third-party application that is integrated into QBDT.
You can visit desktop.apps.com to check which app has the feature you're looking for. You can follow the app's instructions to link it to your QBDT account.
You can also use the Excel app and enter the pay dates manually to look like a calendar. Then, save it as a pdf or jpeg file so that your employees can access it using their phones.
I've included this article that shows all the federal holidays in 2022: (QB Desktop, All Payroll) Holiday Payroll Calendar.
If you meant something else, I'd appreciate any extra details you have so I can provide the steps to move forward. Enjoy the rest of the day.
This is what I meant : when I enter new customers in for jobs I have those jobs scheduled and that information about the scheduling >the start and end dates of the job is entered by double clicking the customers name and then under "job info" ...why doesn't that information go straight to the calendar and print it on the days of the calendar ? instead QB uses the Calendar to show transactions what's the purpose of that what good is that going to do and there's no print calendar function so what's the calendar for just so you can look at the days you did your transactions that's ridiculous there's no need for that
I can look at my bank register to look at the transaction dates I dont need a calendar for that
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, @the_tile_setters.
I understand how useful it is for your company to be able to print the calendar in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). However, this option is currently unavailable.
We can work around this by using a third-party app that includes the feature you require. Simply navigate to the App Center within your QBDT and look for an app from there.
Furthermore, I'd also recommend sending your feedback to our development team. This allows them to review your suggestion and possibly include it in future updates. Let me show you how.
I've also included this article that will walk you through the steps if you want to learn how to print checks: Create, modify, and print checks.
I'm all ears if you have any additional concerns about printing or with your QBDT. It's always my pleasure to help. Keep safe!
