What is the work around as this feature was available in the desktop version and we rely on this daily.

Allow me to share some insights about printing the expense categories in your voucher checks, rkesler.

Currently, the only option to print the voucher checks with its expense categories is by utilizing a third-party application.

While I’m unable to recommend a specific app, I can route you to the website where you can look for an application specific to your business needs. From there, you can integrate the app into the program. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to this link: Apps help QuickBooks run better.
  2. From there, enter a keyword in the Search field. This action will display a list of apps.
  3. Select one to show the full details of the app, and scroll down to see customer reviews to help you decide which app is best suited for your business type and needs.

Alternatively, you can look for a third-party app outside the QuickBooks website.

Moreover, visit this article to learn more about setting up your print options in QBO to ensure your checks align and print out correctly: Configure your print settings for printing checks in QuickBooks Online.
