Buy nowHello Everybody,
I need your support, Can I downgrade from QB Desktop Enterprise 2012 to QB Desktop 2011 Enterprise ?
Is it possible?
Thanks,
Mohamed
Why should you do that?
QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) has restrictions regarding the compatibility of company files with different products, versions, or editions, making it impossible to "downgrade" to an older version, MoH. I'm here to share insights on this issue. I suggest upgrading to the latest QBDT version to ensure compatibility and access to new features.
Here's QBDT newer versions support the Windows 11 operating system but for 64-bit only. However, the recent versions are only for the annual subscription type.
Here is the list of recent versions that support Windows 11:
QuickBooks Desktop 2021 and its earlier versions offer a non-subscription-based type for users. However, it doesn't support the Windows 11 operating system.
If you want to convert your company file from your QuickBooks Enterprise 2012 to a newer version, you'll need to back up your company files and transfer them to your new PC:
Do this for all company files you own and save them to your local drive. Then, transfer the files to your new PC using a flash drive or by uploading them to a cloud-based storage service and downloading them to your new PC.
You may refer to this article for details on how to upgrade your QBDT. This will help you access features that can benefit your business with improved money management: Upgrade QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus, or Enterprise.

Hello @Chrea
This is because 2012 version doesn't support Arabic Language, while 2011 does.
Can you support in this?
Regards,
Mohamed
Did you upgrade your company file accidentally on QBD 2012?
No, we upgraded to QBD 2012 because it was compatible with Saudi TAX integration requirements.
You have registered data on QBD 2012. There is no way to revert your company file. Consider to open a new company file on QBD 2011. You can use a migration tool if required.
