Yes, in QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can find an invoice by its number using the Classic Search or Advanced Transactions Search feature.
QBO has the flexibility to search for a specific transaction in the system. The fastest and most direct method is to click the Search icon and enter the amount. See the sample screenshot below.

In case the universal search doesn't immediately find the invoice, you can use the Advanced Transactions Search at the bottom of the pop-up window. This opens a dedicated search page where you can filter by transaction type as "Invoice" and search using the "Reference number" to find the specific invoice you need.

You can also find the said invoice by pressing CTRL + F altogether. Here's how:
- Go to the My Apps menu in the left panel and click Sales & Get Paid.
- Then, select Invoices.
- From the Invoices tab, press CTRL + F on your keyboard.
- Enter the number in the Finder box.
- This will highlight the transaction with the invoice number.
