can I put my files on a flash drive

Hi there, Meg. You can create a backup of your QuickBooks Online account to have an additional copy of your data. Let me provide you with the steps in creating a copy.

If you're using QuickBooks Online Advanced, you can save a copy of your data manually.

However, if you are not using QuickBooks Online Advanced, you can consider exporting your data and saving it on your desktop or a flash drive.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon⚙ and in the TOOLS column, select Export data.
2. Select the reason for exporting, then click Continue.
3. In the Reports tab, set the date from the Pre-selected date ranges ▼ dropdown.
4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by turning the switch on or off.
5. Select Export to Excel.
6. Click OK once done.
