Yes, you can reprint your past 1099s anytime, @DRude.

As long as you’ve filed your 1099 electronically with us, copies are available in the File menu. I’m glad to show you the steps.

  1. Click File from the QuickBooks main menu bar.
  2. Choose Print Forms from the drop-down menu, then select 1099s/1096 from the list.

  3. Select the contractor for whom you want to generate 1099, then click Print 1099. A preview of 1099 automatically opens. To view the detailed data on the form, deselect the Alignment box and select PDF.
  4. Press Open PDF in Preview to review the information on the form.
  5. Hit Print to print the completed 1099 form.

You can also create an account to register your company name. This way, you can always access and print your forms. Here’s how:

  1. Go to this link: https://www.tax1099.com/register.
  2. Enter the necessary information.
  3. Follow the on-screen instruction to finish.

Once done, you can use this information to see your submitted forms. It contains complete instructions so you can successfully reprint your past 1099s.

Let me know if you have additional questions or concerns with 1099. I’m always here to help. Always take care!

Can I re-print a 1099 form from last year in QB DT?

I am trying to correct a 1099 for 2021. I get all the way through to choosing last years calendar dates. When I tell it to print it says there's not enough to report for 2022. How do I get it to print a 2021 form? I am in a constant loop because I have the dates set for last year but it won't do it. Help!

Can I re-print a 1099 form from last year in QB DT?

Thanks for joining us here today, @Izzy18.

I'll share some information about printing amended 1099 forms. You'll have to download the amended form from the IRS. Then, manually input the details. You can use the same information from the 1099 form you've pulled up or run the 1099 Detail report.

Here's how to get the report:

  1. Go to Vendors at the top.
  2. Choose 1099 Forms.
  3. Select 1099 Detail Report.

See these guides for details:

In case you need help managing vendor-related tasks, go to this link. It has our general vendor topics with articles: Expenses and vendors.

Leave a comment anytime below if you need help with anything else or with 1099s. I'll be around to for you. Take care and have a nice day ahead.
