Do you need to merge data from 3 separate QBO accounts into a single QBO account, or else?

I have a way to help you manage your client's company file into one, aprilscully. Doing so will easily let you handle their account at one glance.

Since the ability to merge multiple companies into one isn't available in QuickBooks Online (QBO), we can manually enter the data from one another to the other company you want to keep.

Other than that, you can have multiple QuickBooks companies under the same Intuit account. Each company file is its own paid subscription, but you access them with the same sign-in info.

If these accounts you were referring to are using different sign-in info; and you want them to be consolidated into one, you can do so by referring to the complete guidelines in this article: Use one user ID to access multiple companies in QuickBooks Online.

Aside from that, we also have the option to export the available list you have from the accounts you want to discontinue. Then, import it to the one we will be keeping. Here's how you can export your files:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Export Data.
  2. Select the date range in the Reports tab and toggle on the options or data you want to export.
  3. Select Export to Excel.

Additionally, here is an article you can check when exporting them: Export reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks Online.

To begin moving them into the other company file, please follow the steps outlined in this article: Common questions about importing data to QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, you can utilize various financial reports to get a snapshot of your business's financial growth. I also added a resource where you can refer to the complete guidelines for customizing it:

I’ll keep this thread open for your concerns and other queries about managing company data. I’m just a post away to guide you. Have a good one!
