I totally understand how stressful it can be when technology interferes with something you need to accomplish, Monique.
The process for cancelling your QuickBooks Online subscription depends on how you initially subscribed. If you signed up through a mobile app store, you'll need to cancel directly via the app store.
On the other hand, if your account was purchased directly from Intuit online, you can follow these steps to cancel:
- Open a web browser on your computer (not a mobile device).
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online as the primary or company admin.
- Go to Settings, then select Subscriptions and billing.
- In the QuickBooks Online (QBO) section, select Cancel. If you're cancelling a trial, select Cancel your trial.
- Follow the on-screen steps.
It's also worth noting that you can always reactivate your subscription at any time should you decide to use it again in the future.
I've also included this article, which outlines what happens to your QuickBooks Online data after cancellation: What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel?
