 Vicsoff solution

For those of you who were as confused as I was, I found out the Microsoft XP Writer is installed in Windows 11, it just has to be  checked to be "turned on".  Click on the Windows icon. (The 4 blue boxes that look like a window where your start button is located) At the top in the search feature type in Turn Windows features on or off.   A list will pop up. Cursor down the list until you find Microsoft XPS Document Writer under Microsoft Print to PDF.  Make sure it is checked and the box turns blue.  Once I did this and restarted my computer everything worked the way it did before I upgraded to Windows 11.

Thank you so much! I have been running the tool 3-4 months when I invoice and could not get it fixed. Your solution did the trick, so thank you for sharing it! You are my hero haha

Here is my issue. Running Windows 11 on Parallels on a Mac. When checking it is already checked. I even ran the tool repair for both QB and for Windows sill when trying to email an invoice I am still betting the window to send to QB Support no matter what I check QB shuts down. So if anyone has a solution for this I would appreciate it. Getting tired of using a backup on a thumb drive and running it on a Windows 10 Vm and it works.

Thanks

is the XPS viewer needed on the clients pc or the person generating the invoice.

I can’t answer that. When I try to send everything look normal until I hit send. That’s when the window pops up wanting to send a report. To QB. Selecting anything then crashed to the desktop.  Then when reopening QB it returns to the Company that was opened when it crashed.

Thank you VicsOff for helping all of us when QB can't seem to get their act together!  Spent 1.5 hours with them yesterday trying to fix an issue with QB time. I ended up figuring it out myself when they needed to call me back for the 3rd time.  Thankful for this option to find real answers!
