Can you do mobile check deposit?

Yes, you can deposit checks using the QuickBooks Online mobile app. However, this feature is only available for users with a QuickBooks Checking account who meet specific eligibility criteria, acuccia.

 

To deposit a check, you must be enrolled in QuickBooks Payments and have an active QuickBooks Checking account. If you haven’t done so yet, make sure to sign up for QuickBooks Payments. You can refer to this article for instructions: Accept customer payments.

 

Once approved, you’ll receive a QuickBooks Checking account. You’ll also get your physical QuickBooks debit card in the mail within seven to ten business days.

 

Please note that mobile check deposit isn’t available to all customers. If you’re eligible, you’ll see the option to Deposit Checks when you navigate to the Get Money section in the app.

 

Before depositing a check, make sure to confirm the following:

 

 

If you’ve already signed up for QuickBooks Payments and have an active QuickBooks Checking account, follow these steps to deposit a check using the mobile app:

 

  1. Sign in to the QuickBooks Online app from a mobile device.
  2. Select Cash Flow.
  3. From the QuickBooks Checking home page, select Send Money.
  4. Click Deposit Checks. If you don’t see this option or if it’s unavailable, it means you aren’t eligible yet.
  5. Enter the check amount. Ensure it doesn’t exceed the limit displayed on the screen. Keep in mind that deposit limits cannot be increased for mobile check deposit-eligible customers.
