Suddenly, I cannot enter any new statement charges in one company. It works ok in other companies.
Can enter new invoices.
Recent transaction number is 4029 so I don't think I am hitting any limits.
Tried deleting a transaction and still could not add any new ones. Tried various customers.
Tried Rebuild Data, Verify Data, File Repair. All no problems
Any ideas?
Thanks, Fred
Hello hd03,
Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! I appreciate all the troubleshooting steps you have taken thus far! I would love for you to test something out for me so I can analyze this better. Does this happen with all users in that one company, or is it happening to your profile alone?
I will be looking forward to your response. See you in a few.
Hello Sasha,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
I only had one user/admin account.
Upon your question, I created a second user.
Looks like the statement charges are working OK with the new user.
Hello Sasha,
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.
I only had one user/admin.
Upon receiving your question, I created a new user with full privileges.
The Statement charges are working correctly for the user.
Is there something I need to change on the original user?
Thanks, Fred
It's great that you were able to enter statement charges for the added user, Fred. Let's work together to rectify the issue of the original user.
Since statement charges are working fine with the new user account, we can check the roles and permissions of the original user to identify any potential issues.
If the user's role is set to Admin, they should have full access to all features. If everything is correct and the issue persists, you can check this article to repair your QBDT company files: Fix data damage in QuickBooks.
You may also want to run and customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop. This will help you view information and focus on the details that matter the most to you.
