I don't want this to happen to you again because I know how important it is to review customer transactions, @jessu1.
I have troubleshooting steps to follow to help get rid of the issue you've come across in your QuickBooks Online account. Thus, you'll not use incognito mode the whole time to use the program.
Sometimes, too much cache build-up in your regular browser can cause unexpected behavior in the product. With this, I'd recommend logging your account through an incognito window. This way, we can check if it's a browser-related issue.
Refer to the keyboard shortcuts below:
- Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
- Control + Option + P (Safari)
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)
Once logged in, re-open the new invoices or customer list to verify if it's already performing well. If it works, return to your regular browser and press the CTRL+ Shift and Delete keys on their keyboard to clear the cache.
Once you receive payments from the client, register them into QuickBooks. Then deposit them with your bank to personalize the transactions.
