Changing "From" email in Purchase orders

Hi we're switching to Quickbooks online from Desktop, and I can't seem to find where to change the "from" email for sending purchase orders to our vendors.

 

In Desktop, we can change it easily, and send from a dedicated purchasing email on our domain, but in QBO it comes from a quickbooks domain. Can anyone direct me to where I can change this setting?

I can share some information about purchase orders in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @hortidirect.

 

The default email address when sending sales forms like invoices, transactions like purchase orders, and reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is quickbooks@notification.intuit.com.

 

Changing the sender email address in QBO is currently unavailable. That would be a great addition to the current features that we have, so I’ll take note of it.

 

You might want to let our product engineers know this is something you need. Please send your feedback straight to them by clicking the Gear icon and selecting Feedback. This goes to our product development team to help improve your QuickBooks Online experience.

 

Here are the steps:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  2. Provide your product suggestion. 
  3. Click on Next to submit feedback.

Changing "From" email in Purchase orders

That's unfortunate. I found posts from 2 years ago requesting this feature and it's still not implemented! Our team was under the impression that QuickBooks Online was an upgrade from desktop, but apparently it's actually going backwards.

I don't know if you have already switched form Quickbooks Desktop to QBO. In my opinion, QBO has been around long enough, but is a crippled product. Intuit has a standard canned reply to add the feature with the usual Select Gear Icon, Select Feedback.........

 

Some of the required functionality should not be a "feature request".
