Hi there,
I'm hoping someone can help with this issue.
I'm using Qbks for MAC desktop 2020 and entering a full fiscal year so I need to change the date as I go, starting at July 2022. The issue is that I go to enter the date manually, using various formats (my mac preferences are for mon/day/year) and Qbks keeps changing it back to today's date. It's confusing because it worked a few times, but now not. I've checked preferences on both my MAC and Qbks. The little calendar icon that appears by the date does nothing when clicked on.
If anyone has suggestions or can help that would be so appreciated.
Thanks,
Sarah

Hi,
there is no Quickbooks Desktop Help in my Help drop down menu. In fact, my screen does not look like yours.
This seems like it would be a simple issue to fix and I'm surprised it's become so complicated.
Please advise,
Thank you,

I cannot enter a transaction date (checks, deposits, credit card txns) other than today's date. I'm on QBDT for Mac 2024. Anyone else having this problem?
I am having the same issue, using QBDT for Mac 2024. Any suggestions? I have been unable to enter transactions with the correct date since the beginning of January 2024.
Hi Maybelle -
I use QBDT for Mac 2024, and I am having exactly the same problem - QB will not accept a check, deposit or credit card transactions with any date other than the current day's date. Since the beginning of January, I have spent approx. 20 hours troubleshooting with Intuit technical and data support people, and uploading my data to ensure there were no issues there (there weren't). No one is able to solve my problem, and I've been told that there is no way to escalate this to senior technicians. Gotta say, this is the worst customer support I have ever experienced. Hoping you have a fix for this; if not, please escalate it if you can. And if not, well I guess I'll be shopping for new software....
