We use QuickBooks online.
We prefer to use the tab key while entering checks. The check writing screen has changed. Now there is a drop down to the left of the account entering cell. We can no longer move from the check number entry directly to the account number entry with our tab key. We must use the mouse to move from that drop down to the account number entry cell. It is frustrating that QuickBooks has added this step to check writing. Any additional step decreases productivity - especially when writing multiple checks. Can we customize our check writing screen to eliminate that drop down? Thank you!
It's been going on for invoices, too. For us, it has been ever since they did the system Maintenance a few weeks ago. It is SO frustrating!! Every time any of us request help from "Support", we are blown off. NO ONE will step up and help.
Someone should be along shortly, to tell you to empty your cache. They won't listen or SEE the part where THAT DOESN"T WORK. QB BROKE SOMETHING!!
Good luck, though. Know that you're not alone.
Hey there, @LoraRR. Also, to you too @Just_me.
I appreciate both of you coming here with your concern about entering checks and invoices.
QuickBooks Online recently updated the system to improve some features and change a few things for every user. However, this is one of the changes that was apart of the last update.
Since this is the case, you won't be able to your check or invoice screen when entering them. You can send feedback to our Product Developers so they can consider adding this back in the near future. They take the time to review your requests and try to add them in the next available update.
Check out our Blog site to keep up with what's new in the system.
I hope this helps answer all of your questions about your issue. I'm only a post away if you need me. Wishing you both the best!
This also impacts journal entries. Please forward our concerns to Product Development.
No @Candice C, That's not it. It literally is broken. You're just like ALL the other QB employees and totally not understanding what the deal is.
Nice try, though.
