Client Schedule pay option

I see that a client who I billed, has scheduled their payment.  Where can I find the date that the payment will be made?

Thank you

You can check the scheduled payment details in Invoices on the Sales menu, @sparkling.clean. I know how to do this.

Since your client has already established their scheduled payment, you can find its information in the Sales section. Here's how to do it:

  1. On the left panel, hit Sales.
  2. Hover to the Invoices and click the invoice you want to check.
  3. Find the Scheduled payment in the activity tracker to see the highlights.

If the date is not visible on your end, you can contact your client directly to ask for the necessary information.

You can also track the payment status within the deposits section if payment is made. For guidance, refer to the following article: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

Moreover, once payment is received, you can check this reference to have a reliance on recording invoice payments in QBO.

The "Activity" shows the invoice as "Scheduled", there is no further information.

Client Schedule pay option

Thanks for getting back to the thread, sparkling. Allow me to provide additional information in locating the scheduled payment date in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

The option to see the date of when the payment will be made through scheduled pay by your client in QBO is unavailable. I suggest reaching out to them to verify. Here's an article about schedule pay: Set up schedule pay in QuickBooks online.

Additionally, you can go to the Deposits page to check its status once the payment is processed. I'll show you how.

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to Sales, then Deposits.
  3. Select the bank deposit you want to review.
  4. Then, see each payment that's part of the daily deposit. It also shows related processing fees as separate transactions.

You can check out this article for reference: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.
