Comparative Balance sheet

My accountant said she is unable to run a comparative balance sheet in my QB account. Is this because of the type of subscription I have?

Comparative Balance sheet

Let me share some information about running the Balance Sheet Comparison report in QuickBooks Online (QBO), rnksnack.

Clients can access the Balance Sheet Comparison report in all versions of QBO. Accountants, on the other hand, can only access the report if they are using the QBO Plus version. Here's an article you can refer to for more details about reports included in your QuickBooks Online subscription. See the screenshots for your reference:

You can then access the report and send it to your accountant. You can also choose to display Year-over-Year columns in your Balance Sheet report. Here's how it's done:

  1. Go to Business overview and select Reports, or go to Reports.
  2. In the search bar, search for and open Balance Sheet Comparison.
  3. Tap Customize.
  4. Under Rows/Columns, select the Columns dropdown, then change it to the desired comparison period.
  5. Press Run report.

You can check out this article for more details about the Balance Sheet report: Run a Balance Sheet report in QuickBooks Online. Feel free to visit our Reports page for more insights about setting up reports to customize, run, and share.
