Comparing QB Online to Desktop Premier Wholesale and Manufacturing

The company I work for is being sold and the new owner is interested in using QB Online instead of Desktop.

We currently use 2021 Quickbooks Premiere Manufacturing and Wholesale.  I have my suspicions that QBO is not going to be as encompassing as the desktop version.  Can anyone offer an unbiased comparison?  Will I be restricting my options/functions/reports/details?

Comparing QB Online to Desktop Premier Wholesale and Manufacturing

Are you running a wholesale company or manufacturing company? I believe using QB Online is not enough to have similar features to QB Desktop Premier. You may need to have 3rd party apps.

You may need a 3rd party app to have sales order and inventory management feature with a B2B portal to integrate with QBO.
