Connect to Square App Does Not Work as Specified

I've invested hours in being shipped back and forth between Quickbooks support and Square. I've been in screen shares, chats, and phone calls. Both parties say the problem is with the other guy.

According to the Apps page, the app is developed by Intuit and the support link is to the Intuit site.

I'm told by Intuit reps that this is "outside of [their] scope." Essentially I've hit a wall with this and I'm at my wits end.

The problem: the Connect to Square App

It provides two options at set up
1) Bring in individual transactions as individual sales receipts
2) Bring in a single sales receipt per day, summarizing all sales from that day

The documentation on the app page is quite clear & simple. Either result as displayed on the app page looks great. The problem...the app doesn't function this way. In fact, if the summary method is chosen, it functions somewhere between the two. For a day with 69 transactions in Square, It brings in about 100, most of them being small individual transactions. Yet, somehow there's a larger transaction around $100, with 14 transactions in it. I'd expect the integration to produce a single sales receipt (as it specifies it does) just like this large transaction, with 69 transactions in it, or at least the summarized data from 69 transactions.

Who can I get in touch with to bring this issue, with which I've struggled for a year to no avail, to resolution? There's no way to be forwarded to or get the contact information of the developer team. I've contacted David Talach via LinkedIn because I've hit a dead end with support, and turned to the Blog at Intuit regarding the Developer Team when doing a Google search for those terms.
