I am finding it impossible to reach QB on a Sunday when I thought I could do this DOWNGRADE also.  What has been your experience with QB downgrade?

WELL -- I am an ENTERPRISE SILVER user until I do the DOWNGRADE so why isn't the QB team avail to me NOW????????????????????????????  Crazy that you have my  $$$$ and renewed me a MONTH earlier but don't honor that ???  I am so so so so so frustrated by QB.  In Jan 2021 I was royally "scammed" by your 800# that got hacked and was UPGRADED to Enterprise that time with a PIRATED LICENSE...($6K pre pay to lock in savings was the pitch!)  ....and for 18 months had the BEST ever tech support !!  BUT then in May 2022 we clicked on those "update" screens and WHAMO my QB didn't work anymore.  THAT is when I found out that the license and TECH support for 18 months was fake.........AND in May 2022 we "paid" again for a 'subscription' (which by the way is a huge $$ rip off).  So now fast forward to MARCH and INTUIT auto renews me to a tune of nearly $2900 and I called and I was told I could downgrade ..........so a credit will appear 4-5 business days and the new charge $10140.  occurs IMMEDIATELY and YOUR tech support for me for ENTERPRISE is downgraded IMMEDIATELY???????????????????????????????????????????  UNfair.  I wonder if there are Federal Regulations about this???????????????????  I am so so so so frustrated.  Thanks for listening.............................................

Support will not help downgrade your files. You must purchase a third-party downgrade service. Contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA and they can help you. They are a reputable provider. You may consider downgrading to QB Desktop 2024 Premier Plus for 5 users or QB Desktop Accountant for 10 users.

@BigRedConsulting
This is an old thread, but we have an issue, and you may be able to help us. We moved from QB Enterprise Solutions: Contractor 21.0 to a completely different platform and ERP (Acumatica). We no longer need to do any transactions within QB, but would like to maintain an accessible legacy copy of the file for reference. What is the best way to do this? Quickbooks has told me to just save a copy of the company file, cancel our subscription, then renew our subscription if we need to access the information. This seems asinine to me. I don't want to go through renewing a subscription, updating software and then canceling again simply for read-only access. What is the better solution?

You can use the trial version of QB Desktop to access your historical data for good. You should contact Fiat Lux for details.
