Hi, Bec59103. If you're using QuickBooks Online (QBO) Advanced, you have the option to create a backup by copying your data to a new company file.
Follow the following steps to manually create a backup company file in QBOA:
- Go to Settings ⚙.
- Select Back up company.
Note: You might need to sign in with Intuit account, then select Authorize to proceed.
- Select Add Company.
- Select the Search for a company ▼ dropdown menu, then select the company you want to back up.
- Select Next, then Connect.
Note: If you have multiple companies to back up, repeat steps 2 to 4.
- Find the company you want to back up.
- Select the Action ▼ dropdown menu, then select Run full backup.
