Create Statements

Dear Team,

I work with QB Desktop - Enterprise software.

Is there any way to  include SHIP DATE in the Outstanding Statement description part?

As per my Company policy, Statements to be emailed to Customers for whom the Invoice ages above 30 days and unpaid.

But from Customer end, I receive a query email stating SHIPMENT SHIPPED DATE is different from Invoiced Date and delivery received date is less than 30 days.

For e.g., INVOICE DATE 05/10/2022; SHIP DATE 05/25/2022; DELIVERY DATE is 05/27/2022

Please help!

With Best Wishes,

Bagya B

Create Statements

Hello @Bagya1111,

I appreciate you for providing information about your QuickBooks product. I'm here to help you with your concern about the customer statements in the Enterprise version.

Currently, the option to include the Ship date information in the description part of the statement is unavailable. There's no workaround yet to show the information for this type of transaction.

Though, it would be beneficial to have the option in the statements, too. Our engineers might be working to bring this feature over to this platform in the future.

As we assess this, I encourage you to send your feedback through these steps:

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Click the Help tab at the top menu bar.
  3. Hover your cursor to Send Feedback Online.
  4. Choose Product Suggestion.

I've also attached an article you can use to add a statement charge and affect the customer's balance in QuickBooks: Enter statement charges in QuickBooks.

Leave a comment below if you have other concerns about managing statements or customizing the template. I'm always ready to lend a hand.
